BioMini-biography? Tall order. I'm a University student majoring in Philosophy in the college of Arts and Sciences at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, Canada. And, ever since I came here, I've felt the need to start out any introductions of myself with that statement. I guess it does become a part of your identity, especially after a year.
Basically I'm a pretty smart guy who makes dumb choices. Which is a way of saying that I'm just like everyone else. I try to keep informed and abreast of this life, this world, this whatever you wanna call it. But it's hard and it only gets harder.
I guess it's not all bad, I have a beautiful and intelligent little girl. Yes I'm young, but stigmas are not universal. Between me and her mother, we're doing the best we can and our child isn't being raised in neglect nor poverty. I think that's something. If you don't think so, we can talk about it. I try to be open-minded, but I'm also opinionated and forceful. I know how to say what I mean and how to be convincing. Puts people off more often than not. Everyone thinks I'm trying to convince them. Not always the case, but when I am trying to convince you, you don't know it until after you're convinced. Hah.
I'm concerned with human nature. I am overly analytical and so people think I'm judging them. I notice things, and I make mention. Not everyone takes kindly to that. I usually say "tough", but sometimes it's nice to have it clean. I'm told that I shoot from the hip, and that I always shoot straight. I'm also told I talk to much. But I have a lot to say. While all of it is interesting to me, not all of it may be interesting to you. I'm aware, but I don't always respect that. I'm sorry about that, sure am. I'm as conflicted as anyone.
I'm not religious. I believe in improving ourselves and the societies within which we live and function. I believe in universal truth and values, but I don't discriminate because of them. I guess I'm kind of a humanist, flirting with the idea of being posthuman.
Other than that, you might have to ask.
